Interesting little island that I wish I had gotten more time to spend on. It sits a short drive from Seattle Washington and is accessible by either a long car ride to a bridge or by a relatively short ferry ride. Of particular interest to me are the aging military forts that were a part of the coastal defense network meant to repel incoming enemy ships from entering the ports of Seattle.
